Luca Toni sees Fiorentina clash as chance for Juventus to boost Champions League hopes

Luca Toni is hoping to give former club Fiorentina a headache when he travels there with Juventus on Sunday looking to develop his side's hopes for the top four.

Juve are six points behind Lazio, who currently sit in fourth place, and Toni feels he can triumph over his former club in what is a crucial Serie A clash.

"It will be a nice effect heading back to the Franchi as I am playing against a club I scored many goals with," he told Sky Sport Italia.

"I could find a hostile environment there, but I don't know if the fans will jeer me."

But Toni is keen on prolonging Juventus' dream to recover from their poor season and attain Champions League football for next season.

"With a positive result there will be plenty of enthusiasm and we would be able to have our say on matters until the end," he added.

"It will be a great game, a difficult one. We cannot make mistakes, and we must score."
