Juventus’ Gianluigi Buffon remains one of the best goalkeepers in the world despite injuries

Italian legend Dino Zoff has reiterated his faith in Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon and believes that he remains of the best in the world.
The Italy international has suffered with injury problems this season and there are doubts over his future in the national team as well as at Juve.
Buffon’s form has dipped in the last few years because of his injury problems but Zoff, regarded by many as one of the best goalkeepers of all time, believes that his compatriot is a class apart.
Interviewed by Tuttosport, Zoff said: “If Buffon is okay physically, then he has no problems being number one. He is Italy's goalkeeper and remains among the best in the world.

“If he is on top [form] there shouldn't be and can't be any rivalry."
